The time is now, we need to be serious and be committed, and we need to be all these things that make us more committed. Do you see a trend here? Commitment is just about all that matters in anybody’s attempt at keto, and this is the keto from before keto, the keto from after Atkins, that we have been teaching for nearly a decade.
No Sugar No Grains No Legumes No Root Vegetables No Fruit Besides a Handful of Berries a day
These are the rules, the ones that I KNOW will alter your body chemistry, and will break you from the chains of addiction. Addiction to sugar. Not sweetness, but blood sugar, the thing that jumps into your brain, releases dopamine and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The thing that comes from eating the potato chips while watching the game, or the tortilla chips before your healthy salad. The thing that comes from your english muffin, or your sweet potato fries… or perhaps it is your banana that you use to get the rush. It might be that you like eating a pile of beans, or just the rice… I don’t know what you use to do it, but something you are eating is feeding your sugar addiction. Something is kicking your butt in the most comforting way, and I want to kill it.
