Sometimes we forget to consider the things that make us stressed or fill us with peace, when we are considering our health. Health, as we have come to know not just through our own understanding, but through research and clinical data, hinges heavily on the level of peace that you can maintain in your life.
I have been blessed with a resolute position of comfort in a storm. I believe it is faith, but perhaps it is something I was born with. So I went from seven chiropractic offices, and an endless amount of ongoing “stuff”, to a bunch of CrossFit gyms and an ongoing effort to finish the 60 Day Turnaround book along with the content to serve the needs of all of you for ongoing education.
It is a lot, and sometimes the volume of it gets a little overwhelming, but like I said, I am keyed in to be low stress. But there are times when I need to stop and be sure I am staying centered…
To Change the way the world sees health while showing honor and glory to both God and my Family
This has been my mission for the last ten years. When getting focused to stay centered on this mission, I usually need to hang on the words, God and Family. The rest is easy. The rest is the natural lure of humanity… work hard, gain respect, fulfill career. But so often we push ourselves into a corner because of how we pursue that worldly goal, with our eyes focused on just one thing.
I think this topic is ALWAYS timely, as we are constantly being pulled in directions that turn our attention from where our attention should be. But if we are staying focused on the big picture, and serving our purpose; finding peace and comfort in our life is there, in front of us.
HealthSprout is about to take a big step, and an announcement will come shortly. I am getting ready for a period where there will be much trying to pull on the focus of my mission. I decided that it was wise to begin creating an environment where I can be prepared for a tighter budget, and being very stretched for a time. In order to prepare myself I dumped my car and picked up a new one. I bought a used Nissan Leaf.
Whether it be a car, or a home, or a job. At times there are decisions we all should make to prepare ourselves to stay focused on the mission at hand. I love that even though my biggest issue most of the time is pride, that it only takes a moment of reflection to turn it around.
Remember, when you are finding yourself pressed into difficult situations, it is often time to review, renew and simplify. There is a perfect plan for all of us, lets be sure we are working hard to stay on track with it.
