For a “Doctor” you are an idiot, because you should well know that this article is not evidence. Who is Sarah Cain? Secondly, the side effect profile is consistent with most vaccines, but by that logic we should stop vaccinating for polio, mumps measles etc etc, but after all the incidence of those diseases is much lower than even the incidence of cervical cancer.
This comment was posted on the Gardasil Useless Daily Sprout from June 17th. I love it. SO what has Mike taught me with this post? That the world is ignorant because we prefer not to think. I have about 2500 active patients (active is that they are adjusted within a few months time). We have about 1000 regular (every couple of weeks) people, and of course a few hundred in the middle of corrective care.
The reason I give you these stats, is so that you realize that there is no way that all of you are on the same page with me regarding vaccines. But the truth is, just about all of you are questioning it, thinking it through, and making a decision that is right for you and your beliefs…. not just because your doc said to.
This is huge. Simply because you are thinking. The best healthcare comes about when everyone is their own advocate, challenging opinions and rhetoric, driving for better and questioning the current. We would still think trans fat was healthy if it weren’t for the push to challenge the corporate driven marketing machine.
So here were my responses. Trying to be nice, but perhaps I came off a little bit aggressive:
Mike – as a an intellectual (which I am sure you must be) someone might say the same could be said about you. Though, I understand that we tend to be locked into belief patterns simply because the world around us has influenced us so. By your logic, you have come to a belief that the vaccines for polio, mumps, measles, rubella, etc etc have done more good than harm. So as the intellectual that you are, outside of using what you believe to be concrete evidence (because the incidence of infectious disease is lower, the vaccines must have done it), what is the “evidence” (using your words), that those vaccines work? Simply to state because they were given, and the diseases are lower does not suffice, simply because the CDC’s own prevalence graphs show significant reduction prior to the national vaccine program ever starting.
I have asked for two decades for some evidence that vaccines work more than natural immunity outside of simple observation. And it doesn’t exist. But I am pleased to change my mind should someone give me a good reason. Two decades, and I have been on the phone with countless pediatrician’s, still no scientific evidence produced.
Oh, and indeed. I am an idiot. Some of the things I have done out of health pursuit go beyond crazy, and are simply idiotic. But I tend not to make those mistakes just because someone told me to (aka a pediatrician who has been inducted into logic without debate).
So what in the world am I referencing? Its about time you saw it, if you haven’t seen it before. This graph shows the prevalence of diseases before and after vaccine implementation. The first one is measles only. It should be noted that the measles vaccine was introduced in 1963, how much impact did it have?
Pretty simple. Measles was way down long before the shot (vaccine) was introduced. So never mind all of the people blaming shots for their kids diseases (ADD/ADHD/Autism and more). If you didn’t know, my wife was a pediatric occupational therapist for years. She had a highly successful private practice in the area, and MANY of the parents of the autistic children she saw blamed vaccines, but as my friend Mike says above, that isn’t evidence (in my world, it all adds up to evidence). But if you throw all of that away, why in the world would you give a measles vaccine based on the chart above? Cleanliness was the cure, nothing more than cleanliness (which improves immune systems).
This next graph is harder to see, as it covers MANY diseases. But check it out, and consider the amount of money our country has given to vaccine manufacturers, then decide for yourself if it was all worth it.
I hope you understand why I believe research is necessary. I have never seen a scrap of evidence that proves effectiveness of vaccines. They saw the diseases reducing, made a vaccine, and called the success their own.
